Cinemini: Documents for the youngest ones

Because it's never too early for film education, Kino Kavalírka is organising the Cinemini - a unique film education project for children aged 4 to 7. Cinemini will take place in the form of a Cinemini workshop.

Cinemini combines short, unconventional films and specially developed activities that stimulate children's imagination and enhance the child's experience of the film. In this way, we discover the world of film and audiovisual in a fun way with children and develop their creativity, critical thinking and positive relationship to film from an early age.

Under the guidance of an experienced lecturer, we will screen several short documentaries for the children. After each film we will talk together about what a documentary is and what impressions, feelings and thoughts the children have from the documentaries they have watched. We will further deepen the children's experience of the film through specially designed activities such as drawing, making or movement, which will enable them to not only better understand the documentary genre, but above all to experience it.

We will watch the films The Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat, Demolition of a Wall and A Day in Barbagia.

Parents can refresh themselves at our bar or relax in the lounge during the workshop.
