School Screenings

The Pavel Koutecký Award offers elementary and secondary schools the opportunity to attend screenings of documentary films made by emerging Czech documentary filmmakers. The screenings will take place from February 12 to 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kino Kavalírka.
The offer for schools includes both feature-length and short films, which can be combined into a block. The screenings are accompanied by film education discussions led by our experienced team of lecturers, in which we analyze both the theme of the film and the cinematic language of documentary film. Thanks to these discussions, students can enrich their film experience and develop their critical thinking and aesthetic sensibility. We can also enhance the screenings by the participation of the filmmakers and other inspiring guests.

The selection of films, date, and length of the screening can be adjusted to the needs of your school.
